At Premier Workspaces, we believe that strong teams aren’t just built in the office—they’re strengthened through shared experiences, fresh air, and a little bit of giving back. Recently, our South Los Angeles sales team traded their desks for the shoreline, spending the day cleaning up the beautiful beaches of Playa del Rey.
This wasn’t a formal company event, but rather a thoughtful initiative led by Regional Manager, Jake Khoury. With a simple goal in mind, Jake organized the day by gathering the necessary supplies and bringing the team together for something meaningful outside of their usual routine.
From the moment they arrived, the team got to work—picking up trash, clearing debris, and doing their part to help preserve the coastline. It was a hands-on reminder that even small efforts can make a big impact when people come together.
But beyond the environmental impact, the day was really about connection.
“I really just wanted to get them out of the office for a day to hang with each other and do something positive,” said Jake Khoury. “I think it just recharges them. It makes the GMs closer because they hardly get to see each other.”
After a productive morning on the sand, the team wrapped up early and headed to a local restaurant to relax, share a meal, and enjoy each other’s company—ending the day on a high note.
